• Donation details — the amount, currency, selected city, frequency (one-time or monthly), and any dedication you provide.
• Contact details — your name and email address, if you choose to provide them.
• Newsletter sign-ups — the email address you submit to receive updates.
• Technical data — basic, non-identifying analytics such as pages visited, used to improve the site.

We do not collect or store your full payment card details. All card data is handled directly by Stripe, our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor.

• To process your donation and issue a receipt;
• To honor dedications and direct gifts to the city you select;
• To send restoration updates if you subscribe to our newsletter;
• To respond to refund or support requests; and
• To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

Donations are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you donate, you are redirected to Stripe's secure checkout. Stripe's handling of your information is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with service providers essential to our operations (such as Stripe for payments and our email provider), and only as required to deliver the services described here or to comply with the law.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of marketing communications. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time via the link in our emails, or by contacting us. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@samscotts.com.

We retain donation records as required for tax and accounting purposes and delete or anonymize other personal data when it is no longer needed. We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

We use a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality and aggregate analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
